We’re here… Light is fading faster, days are gone, swallowed by the sky
Used to seeing stars, feeling like I want to die
It’s true
How I wish I had said better things
I know I’m so
Self-critical
My apathy
Is fantasy
Can’t let it go… Staring down a well, pity overwhelming me,
Way up high
Clouds are parting quickly, make way, the effect I know
How I wish I had said better things
For myself
So critical
I’m pitiful
And miserable
I’ll let it go
when I have read
Into my head
I’ll tell myself I should’ve said
“Look there, way up high, you’ll see the clouds clear the way for tomorrow’s sky”
It will come, tomorrow,
and it waits for you, just someone we all know
It’s there, all day, we’ll dream of how tomorrow wasn’t there
So self-critical
derivative
and primitive
I’ll let it go
when I have read
what I have said
Won’t let myself go
Make way for tomorrow knows what,
What goes
Look to see tomorrow
It goes
Fly through the blue screen for warmth in victims' empathy
Neglect that the cure hides inside
We pull the reins of the truths that are revealed to be
Steer wisely amidst days you breathe

I dig this album so much, definitely a keeper. Subtly and masterfully mixing death metal subgenres, backed with an over the top production. They're true professionals. Can't wait for their next release! doive

An eclectic but incredibly well-integrated blend of traditional death metal, melodeath, black metal, progressive, and even a bit of folk (with the added bonus of audible and tasty bass guitar). The album has a consistent, pulverizing momentum punctuated by the rare acoustic passage or catchy chorus/refrain. Overall an unbelievably mature first offering from an up-and-coming band to watch.
